The Aras de los Olmos Summer University “Science and Rural Development” (UVAO) aims to underline the connection between the countryside and the mountains and the world of knowledge.
We live in a digital, interconnected, and globalised world in which science, day after day, opens new paths towards the future. In this context, the University of Valencia, true to its humanist and universal values, has sought to function as an incubator of knowledge and a link with our mountain villages in the Valencian hinterland, communicating the richness and potential that they possess in order to build a shared, enriching dialogue of knowledge.
