Art in the street: painting and sculpture

Aras de los Olmos delights in artistic expression of all kinds and enjoys the beauty of small things. There is a widespread taste among its inhabitants for oil painting so exhibitions and competitions of pictorial works are common.

Among the murals that decorate some of its façades, the standout is Echoes of the Elm by Victoria Cano, Olympic medal winner for Fine Arts, a work that expresses the symbiosis of human beings with nature through the mark that we all leave in our wake.

We can also enjoy the pictorial work of Salomé Castro in the Ecomuseum, in the old washing place or in the courtyard of the Schools and the sculptural works of Enrique Andrés made of iron and wood.
