Ecology and the Environment

Aras de los Olmos is concerned about the environment, cultivating the ecological awareness of residents and visitors (exhibition on climate change), taking care of its forests, avoiding light pollution, recycling initiatives and future projects (becoming the first municipality in Spain to be self-sufficient in renewable energies).
