Erasmus in the Territory

For several years now, the University of Valencia has been promoting the Erasmus in the Territory programme, which aims to show international students the rich heritage and environmental wealth of emblematic areas in the province of Valencia.

In each edition, different educational itineraries have been organised, allowing students to visit some of the Valencian municipalities that are a reference point for their cultural projection and rich heritage. Among other destinations, every spring, a group of students from the most varied countries visit Aras de los Olmos to gain first-hand knowledge of the particularity of the Valencian rural environment.

Aras de los Olmos also participates in the European Union’s Erasmus + programme, thanks to which young people from different European countries come to the municipality for extended stays to receive training and exchange experiences that are enriching for all participants. Aras de los Olmos has thus become an international model and reference for development projects and rural dynamism.
