The digitalisation of our society has changed the world in which we live in a very short time. Aras de los Olmos does not want to miss that train.

For more than a decade, the Town Council and the El Olmo Foundation have been promoting digitalisation policies –free Wi-Fi, laptops for children, electronic smartcity applications, the Ruralparty– but it also wants new information and communication technologies, big data and artificial intelligence to become part of its everyday economy.

Its most ambitious project, the RuralTec Hub – located in an emblematic building and equipped with the latest hardware and software infrastructure– is the point of contact, meeting and dialogue between digital developers and entrepreneurs in the rural world.
