RuralTec Hub

The RuralTec Hub is a centre of innovation in and for rural areas. In this space, which is open to collaboration, projects and actions are developed for the application of sustainable, smart and inclusive growth solutions adapted to the rural reality.

The creation of an innovation centre linked to the lines of action of the European LivingLabs1 network, dedicated to developing and promoting projects based on the use of Information and Communication Technologies, created and aimed specifically at the rural environment, entails the provision of an infrastructure that until now did not exist in rural Valencia.

With this collaborative work platform with a gender perspective, rural agents are given the capacity and autonomy to innovate, increasing employment generation options, especially for young people, providing development solutions for companies and the self-employed, in a programme developed in collaboration with the university and the local administration.
