Theatre and poetry in action

The municipal theatre of Aras de los Olmos, although multi-purpose, is mainly used for programming plays of all kinds.

Its inhabitants have formed a permanent group of actors –

Una y no más (One and no more) –and dare to perform all kinds of plays: from classics and children’s plays to great musicals –Mamma Mia! was performed in front of more than a thousand spectators– and all kinds of popular theatrical shows.

Among the most emblematic initiatives there is a special corner for poetry with annual competitions, the Poetic and Literary Circle of Aras de los Olmos and its virtual magazine El Olmo.
